As a chiropractor, i am extremely motivated by the benefits of tummy time for my infant, but I also understand the innate feeling of not wanting to lay your baby down! YOU DONT HAVE TO!

Contact tummy time examples:
🧠breastfeeding with their hips toward your body (koala)
🧠contact naps
🧠holding baby on your chest

Prone (belly down) position is natural! There is no reason to wait to start! Getting your babies used to the floor, exploring, helps your baby develop an understanding and have a good relationship with gravity! It stimulates the baby’s brain to prepare them for future milestones! (Run through AI)

You haven’t started yet! It’s never too late!

Some benefits of tummy time:
✨strengthen baby’s neck, upper back, shoulders and arms for future milestones (fine and gross motor)
✨prevent flat spots on baby’s skull
✨reveal any neck issues from uterine positioning or birth trauma (is your baby symmetrical?)
✨stretches ahead develops hips
✨promotes visual motor development and depth perception

Get those babies on their bellies and watch as “the body and brain learn through MOVEMENT”
