Did you know your little one’s first instinct might be a headfirst adventure off the couch or bed? 😱 As a pediatric chiropractor, I’ve seen it all too often! Time to teach them the art of safe descents once they’re on the move! 🚼

Think your baby won’t catch on? Think again! They understand more than you realize! 🤯 Here’s the game plan: show them how to flip to their bellies and gracefully slide down furniture or stairs.

As soon as your baby is mobile, teach them like this:

1. Ensure they stand securely on both feet.
2. Guide them from headfirst attempts to belly down, FEET FIRST.
3.Say it out loud! “Belly down, feet first”
4.Repeat, repeat, repeat! Less support over time until they master solo landings.

Practice and repetition are key – babies learn fast! 💡
